Your space. Your session.

We don't have a studio. We have wherever feels right to you.

At home

Most of our clients shoot at home. Your bedroom, your living room, wherever the light is good and the space feels like yours. You don't need a magazine-worthy apartment. You need a window and a little bit of floor space. I handle the rest.

Home sessions are the most relaxed. You're in your own space. You can take a break whenever you want. Your coffee is right there. There's no pressure to perform for a room you've never been in.

Rentals and unique spaces

If you want a setting that feels different from your everyday space, a short-term rental can be a great option. Airbnbs, VRBOs and boutique vacation rentals offer backdrops you won't find in a studio. Exposed brick, oversized windows, rooftop terraces, styled interiors.

You book the space. I show up with my gear. Some clients pick a rental for the aesthetic. Others pick one for the privacy of being in a space where nobody knows them. Both are good reasons.

Outdoors

For the adventurous. Outdoor boudoir sessions use natural light and natural settings to create something you won't get indoors. Golden hour in a meadow, a secluded trail, a private backyard with good light.

Outdoor sessions require more planning. We need a location with genuine privacy, the right time of day for lighting and a backup plan in case the weather doesn't cooperate. I'll help you find the right spot and plan for all of it.

The best outdoor sessions happen during the hour before sunset. The light is warm, soft and forgiving. If you've ever wondered what you'd look like in that kind of light, this is your answer.

Tips for choosing your location

If you're shooting at home

Clear a space near your largest window. Remove personal items you don't want in the background (family photos, clutter on nightstands). Fresh sheets and a few pillows go a long way. I can work with almost any room as long as there's natural light.

If you're booking a rental

Look for listings with large windows, neutral decor and a bedroom that photographs well. Send me the listing link before you book, and I'll let you know if the space will work. Avoid rentals with small, dark rooms or heavy patterned wallpaper.

If you want to go outdoors

Think about privacy first. Public parks can work, but you'll need a secluded area where you won't be interrupted. Private land, a friend's rural property or a rented outdoor space is ideal. I can suggest locations I've scouted in the Northern Virginia and D.C. area.

Not sure where to shoot?

That's fine. Tell me what kind of vibe you're going for, and I'll help you figure out the rest.
